Business Improvement Course for
   existing entrepreneurs

This course is for those who are already in business and who wants to improve and or expand their existing businesses specifically by assessing their entrepreneurial competencies, diagnosing performance of the business i.e. problems, identifying, screening, selecting alternative solutions, developing business improvement plans, and assessing its viability by presenting these to panel of experts.

Objectives: At the end of the training program, participants will be able to:
  • Assess personal entrepreneurial competencies, identify strengths and weaknesses
  • Diagnose business performance, i.e. financial, marketing, production, organization and management aspects
  • Generate alternative solutions to problems, screen and select best alternative solutions
  • Develop a business improvement plan
  • Present and defend the plan to a panel of experts

Module 1: Improving Personal Entrepreneurial competencies where participants clarify their motivations for being in business, assess their personal entrepreneurial competencies as well as their business management competencies and formulate personal improvements on their competencies to overcome weaknesses and barriers.

Module 2: Business Situation and Performance Analysis where participants analyze their business situation and performance through use of diagnostics tools and techniques, identify problems that prevent them from attaining their desired organizational objectives and screen & select business improvement ideas.

Module 3: Business Improvement Planning where participants formulate business improvement concepts and strategies then, formalized these in a business improvement plan.

Module 4: Viability test where participants defend their business improvement plans to a panel of experts, bankers and get feedbacks or inputs that refine or finalize their business plans.
