Business Restructuring and Competitiveness Enhancement Course (BRACE)

The BRACE program is an entrepreneurship development course that will enhance the competencies of existing small and medium entrepreneurs (who are in crisis situation such as inability to repay their loans, lack of liquidity, sharp drop in sales, losses, high inventory, high costs of production), in identifying and diagnosing causes to problems, generating and selecting solutions/alternative courses of action, and developing a business restructuring plan.

The BRACE Course has four modules:
Module 1: Self Analysis
Module 2: Business Performance Analysis
Module 3: Business Restructuring Plan
Module 4: Viability Test

Objectives: At the end of the training program, participants will be able to:

• To assess personal qualities, vision, goals and resources vis a vis company's present situation
• To assess/analyze company's performance
  • Diagnosing the market
  • Diagnosing production
  • Diagnosing general management
  • Diagnosing finance management
• To generate and analyze alternative solutions to address problems
• To formulate strategies in a business restructuring plan
• To present business restructuring plan to panel of bankers
