Basic Entrepreneurship Course for Cooperatives

This program is to develop leaders of cooperatives to be more profitable and competitive, to be entrepreneurial in managing their activities.

OBJECTIVES:

This training program is meant to give the participant an insight into the processes of business start up.

At the end of the program, participants will be able to:

  • Assess their entrepreneurial competencies
  • Employ brainstorming as a methodology in business idea generation
  • Screen business ideas and select the most potentially viable business project using micro screening and SWOT analysis
  • Formulate a business plan on the selected business project
  • Present to a funding institution the business plan for viability test
