Business Creation Course for potential /
   new entrepreneurs

This program is meant for participants who are planning to put up a business. The participants will be able to assess his/her competencies as an entrepreneur, identify, screen/select a business idea/project which suits his/her competencies, develop his/her own marketing, production, organization and management, and finance concepts regarding his/her own business.

Objectives: At the end of the training program, participants will be able to:

  • Assess their entrepreneurial competencies
  • Employ brainstorming as a methodology in business idea generation
  • Screen business ideas and select the most potentially viable business project using micro screening and SWOT analysis
  • Formulate a business plan/proposal on the selected business project
  • Present to a funding institution his/her business proposal for viability test

The course has 4 Modules which are:

Module 1: Unlocking of entrepreneurial competencies where participants assess their personal entrepreneurial competencies, strengths and weaknesses, resources, vision and goals.

Module 2: Matching of person with project where participants generate, screen and select project ideas vis a vis their entrepreneurial competencies, resources and personal values.

Module 3: Business Planning where participants prepare a business plans on their selected project, which covers marketing, production, organization and finance aspects.

Module 4: Viability test where participants are given the chance to defend their business plans to a panel of experts, bankers and get feedbacks or suggestion from the latter.
